I love Orcas Island's celebration of the 4th of July. The 2010 fesitivities include the parade on Saturday, July 3rd and fireworks on July 4th.
After the parade, join the celebration in the Village Green, with the Farmer's Market and Orcas Historical Museum events, booths and good fun.
We'll be watching the fireworks from the waterfront deck at Allium, Lisa Nakamura's hot new restaurant in Eastsound. Another great place to settle in for great food, libations and fireworks is at The New Leaf Cafe in the Outlook Inn. Reservations are a must!
The Lion's Club will host its Annual Salmon Barbeque and there will be fireworks on Indian Island.
